Our client ( Austrailia local company)  is looking for a part-time  Assistant Accountant to assist the finance team due to continued growth. 3 month contract with Immidiately start. potentially it will change to a full time perminant posotion if you are the right candidate.

Role Description:

Accounts  all-rounder within the Finance & Administration department helping toensure that First Focus’ financial affairs are managed in a professional,thorough and timely manner. This would include but not limited to involvementwith:

-Accountspayable:

Processbills (checking if all bills match up with CW cost, report if there is anyvariance)

Suppliers’accounts reconciliation

Optional:follow up with bills approvals

-Accounts receivable:

Applyreceipts & Remittance advice requesting

Followup debtors & produce weekly aged debtors report to FF accounts

Sendingout monthly statements

AR ageing chart vs bank balance produced daily

Report to accounts for any potential issues for debtors

Bankaccounts and credit cards reconciliation

Reconcileaccounts based on statements sent by FF accounts

Enteringcredit card charges (statements sent by FF accounts, gathering receipts foreach transactions)

Reconcile credit cards monthly

-Payroll processing for 70+ employees

Optional:payroll processing

Staffexpenses reimbursement, produce reports, checking valid expenses claims

Assistingin cash flow forecast update

Updatecash flow forecast spread sheet daily

Other finance and administrative functions as required

Inaddition some other general office management duties are managed by the Finance& Administration department and this role may have involvement withactivities such as:

Creatingperiodic reports relating to financial performance and sevice levels

Othergeneral office duties
