Financial Accountant     NATIONAL HOME DOCTOR SERVICE was formed in June 2013 and is already the leading national player in the medical deputising arena. Backed by Crescent Capital Partners the company has grown through acquisitions and operates in eight major cities with plans to expand further through acquisitions and organic growth.
The company has an ambitious and fast moving strategy for year two and the finance team is no exception. The Group Financial Accountant is urgently seeking a talented Financial Accountant to provide technical skills and expertise and take ownership of the financial and management reporting.
About the Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Accountant you will work closely within a small team where your key responsibilities include:

• Take full responsibility for the monthly management accounts and Board Pack with narrative commentary
• Provide insight into the results and further develop the management reporting
• Reconciliation and management of balance sheet accounts
• Grant reporting and year end acquittals
• Manage balance sheet and cash flow reporting and forecasting
• Playing a major role in preparation and delivery for the annual audit
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Provide expertise on GST, FBT and income tax and prepare all quarterly and annual returns
• Be an administrator and report writer for Technology One general ledger
  

About You
  
You will have a CA or equivalent qualification, at least 5 years experience and be able to demonstrate your ability to cope in a fast moving environment where you often have to multi-task to keep up with the changing business needs. You will have worked in a medium sized company where you've gained experience in a broad range of skills. You will enjoy working as part of a team and have a positive can do attitude and a desire to become part of a culture of excellence.
