Assistant account required

Our client is part of a multinational, public listed local company in freight forwarding and logistic industry. There is now an opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to join our finance team to handle accounts all round tasks.

Our client is currently looking for an assistant accountant (full time ) to join their team, immediate start. Our client has built a reputation for excellence with a team of high achiever. A right candidate will have solid accounting knowledge and techniquees and will be immediately available. Working closely with Finance Manager, you responsibilities will be:

• Monthly reconciliation tasks including bank, trial balance accounts, GST accounts and intercompany settlement accounts.
• Perform monthly GL entry adjustments.
• Manage monthly overhead allocation and accruals.
• Handle daily AR and AP tasks.
• Assist with month end, quarter end and year end reporting packages to meet deadlines.
• Assist with cash flow forecast.
• Ad hoc tasks required by management.

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar accounting role, with reconciliation, AR and AP experience.
• Strong communication skill (both verbal and written).
• Intermediate skill in Excel.
• High attention to details and the ability to meet deadline.
• Exposure to large ERP system is preferential.
