The Company:

Our client is a highly successful maintenance contractor which has been operating for 30+ years.

They have a national presence, covering all NSW, VIC, QLD and ACT, and they maintain civil infrastructure, commercial areas, public domain, parks and gardens.

The Role:

As a hands-on Finance Manager, you will be familiar with Australian accounting standards, have excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

• Active commercial support to the Operations team.
• Continuous review of business processes.
• Financial reporting.
• Management of Accounts payable/receivables and Payroll.
• Progress claims and invoicing.
• Preparation of reconciliations.
• Ensure financial processes are efficient and compliant.
• Oversee the day to day operations of Accounts personnel.
  

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience working in the construction industry is essential.
• An understanding of industry relevant EBA's.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Tertiary education in Accounting.
• Experience using Jobpac and MYOB is highly regarded.
• CPA qualified.
• Understanding of Security Payments Act.
