Accountant / BookkeeperA Sydney based local company is seeking an Accountant to join our rapidly growing team. We are seeking an enthusiastic team member for this full-time position.
Key responsibilities include:           

• $60-$65K Base salary + super
• Surry Hills Location

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and proactive accountant/bookkeeper to work in a  growing designer fashion company.
My client is looking for a person who is motivated, enthusiastic and highly responsible.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and highly motivated to succeed.
Key candidate attributes will include:

• B. Com (Accounting), Dip Accounting or extensive experience in a similar role
• MYOB or Xero Advanced User
• MS Office proficiency
• Prior experience in a similar role
• Ability to work autonomously
• High level of written and verbal English communication
• High standard of professionalism
• Excellent Presentation
• Accurate documentation skills
• Conscientious and hard-working, with the ability to work towards deadlines.
• Professional and mature approach
• Able to commence immediately
  

Key responsibilities are:

• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Recieveable
• Payroll
• Bank reconcililation
• BAS and IAS compilation
• Director Loan account reconciliation
• Petty cash
• Staff reimbursements
• Debtor management
• Inventory management
• Supplier negotiation when required
• Cash flow management

and thereafter be solely responsible for the management of all accounting and financial administration requirements.
