We are looking for a person who is willing to learn, down to earth, meticulous, friendly, can work under pressure and immediately start. The person should have solid accounting knowledge and good communication skills as well.
The role starts as an unpaid intern for 3 months and is very likely to extend for at least another 3 months as a paid assistant accounts. The person will be trained by an assistant accountant and a payroll officer.
The accounts team currently look after 8 companies covering industries like recruitment, educational training and subscription. We mainly use MYOB, XERO and Excel.
The duties are shown in the following:
Accounts Payable:
• Entering and processing expense reimbursement
• Creating and maintaining suppliers files
• Entering invoices and processing payments
Accounts Receivable:
• Creating and maintaining customer files
• Generating tax invoices and sending them to clients
• Following up outstanding payments
• Processing credit card payments and refund
Payroll:
• Checking new employees documents
• Updating payroll master files
• Checking timesheets
• Creating RCTI
• Entering super
Others:
• Printing, scanning and filling
• Helping other AP, AR and Payroll tasks when we are busy
