The Company:
Our client is a highly successful maintenance contractor which has been operating for 30+ years.
They have a national presence, covering all NSW, VIC, QLD and ACT, and they maintain civil infrastructure, commercial areas, public domain, parks and gardens.
The Role:
As a hands-on Finance Manager, you will be familiar with Australian accounting standards, have excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
What You’ll Do:
[*]Active commercial support to the Operations team.
[*]Continuous review of business processes.
[*]Financial reporting.
[*]Management of Accounts payable/receivables and Payroll.
[*]Progress claims and invoicing.
[*]Preparation of reconciliations.
[*]Ensure financial processes are efficient and compliant.
[*]Oversee the day to day operations of Accounts personnel.
What You’ll Bring:
[*]Experience working in the construction industry is essential.
[*]An understanding of industry relevant EBA's.
[*]Excellent communication skills.
[*]Tertiary education in Accounting.
[*]Experience using Jobpac and MYOB is highly regarded.
[*]CPA qualified.
[*]Understanding of Security Payments Act.
